1) Membership options
1a) Reeds health club membership options are anytime monthly, off peak monthly and yearly at varying levels and fees.
1b) Peak memberships cover patrons whilst the club is open and/or in operational hours
1c) Off peak membership cover patrons during set hours which are detailed on this site and within the club. Reeds reserve the right to amend these hours to suit operational hours.
1d) Yearly anytime membership covers members whilst the club is open and/or in operational hours.
1e) All memberships have a minimum of 12 months commitment from the date of purchase.
1f) All members must be over the age of 16 year to purchase a membership.
1g) All children 4 or under can use the facilities without purchasing a guest fee with a member adult.
1h) Guest pass fee will be charged, per person, at £20 for any patron who isn’t a member.
1i) Members can freeze memberships for up to 3 month throughout their membership, Reed's reserve the right to amend, cancel membership freezes.
2) Payments
2a) Monthly memberships will be taken on the 1st of every month, this may vary if this date is a weekend or a public holiday and will then be after 1st of the month.
2b) Yearly membership cover memberships on the date of purchase for 365 days. After 365 days, the membership will need to be renewed to continue use after this period.
2c) Yearly memberships can be collected in Reeds health club, hotel main reception or purchased online.
2d) Monthly memberships will not automatically cancel unless you notify Reeds health club, covered in the terms of section 5
3) Fees and charges
3a) A joining fee will be associated upon signing up to Reeds health club of £25. Reeds reserve the right to amend or change this denomination such as promotions and offers.
3b) Failed or late payment fees may be applied if payments are failed to be collected.
3d) failed or late payment will attempt to be collected via your nominated bank account.
3d) Reeds may use third parties in some cases where payment has failed continuously to collect the outstanding membership fee’s.
4) Price adjustments
4a) Reeds reserve the right, with notice, to amend or adjust membership fee’s.
4b) Reeds will notify members of fee’s adjustment at least 30 days before the new fee’s are collected.
4c) All price adjustments will still be collected by your nominated bank or building society.
5) Membership cancellations
5a) All membership cancellations must be in written form and send to Reeds
5b) All membership cancellations require 1 full month’s calendar notice.
5c) Membership cancellation before the end of the commitment date, covered in section 1, maybe processed under the following conditions
Loss of income: If you have been made redundant resulting in
loss of income
Medical reasons: If you have been diagnosed by a medical
profession to not partake in physical exercise.
All the conditions require written proof or evidence of
meeting these terms.
5d) Management will reserve the right to revoke memberships in line with Reed’s code of conduct, stipulated in the
building entrance and entrances to the gym and poolside Section 6a)
5e) Managers discretion- when conditions above are not met (section 5c) the manager will reserve the right to cancel a membership on his/her discretion.

The facilities operating hours are as follows:
Monday: 06:30-21:00
Tuesday: 06:30-21:00
Wednesday: 06:30-21:00
Thursday: 06:30-21:00
Friday: 06:30-20:00
Saturday: 08:00-20:00
Sunday: 08:00-20:00
The pool will close 30 minutes before the scheduled close as
stated above.
Opening hours may vary during public holidays and are subject to change. Closures may occur for essential maintenance.
Code of conduct
6a) The code of conduct and rules are place in the following areas in Reed’s health club;
The entrance to the fitness suite.
The entrance to poolside
On the front reception and terrace.
Changing areas and toilets
Residents will be required to sign to say they understand this before using the facilities.
6b) Members who are under the influence of alcohol and drugs or substances that can put themselves in danger or others, will be asked to leave the facility.
6c) Member who use threatening behaviour such as violence, intimidating or threatening behaviour will be removed from the premises and their membership will be revoked (section 5d,e)
6d) Members who dis-regard the clubs code of conduct may have their membership revoked (section 5 d,e)
6e) Member must sign a PAR Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire) before entering the facilities. Failure to do so may result in removal or not being able to use the facilities.
